On Saturday 15th September, Arjo colleagues across UK and Ireland took part in a 5 kilometre walk/run to raise funds for Alzheimer's Society.
The team from Belfast took part in their local Park Run.
Colleagues from the UK joined the Park Run in Houghton Regis.
Karen Milton, PA to the President, and her friend Maura took part in fancy dress. Can you guess what they are dressed as?
As a result of our event and the support from many, team Arjo have managed to raise £1325 for the Alzheimer’s Society so far!
Bettina Fitt, President UKI, said: "We had so much fun on Saturday taking part in the Park Run raising money for Alzheimer’s Society. It was great to have such a great turn out and to have employees taking part in various Park Runs across our Region. I was at the one in Houghton Hall. What a wonderful setting, great organisation and we were blessed with great weather. We had employees, families and friends and four-legged friends taking part. It was a great morning out and I can thoroughly recommend this to anyone. I, for one, will definitely take part in another Park Run."
The Alzheimer's Society mission is "to transform the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will strive to create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice."
